Ramesh: On April 30, 2026, I hung up my corporate hat after 32 years. 32 years inside Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited — one of India's most premium industrial organizations under the Indian Oil Group. 32 years of managing unions, signing wage settlements, building mentoring frameworks, designing performance systems, handling disciplinary cases, recruiting engineers and officers, designing Contract Labour Management Systems, Learning Management Systems and navigating every HR challenge a large manufacturing organization can throw at you. I did not just study HR. I lived it — on the shop floor, in the boardroom, across negotiating tables, and in quiet one-on-one conversations with workmen going through personal crises. And now, a new chapter begins. I am launching TriVeer HR Consulting — a strategic HR advisory practice built for manufacturing and industrial companies that need enterprise-level HR thinking without the full-time cost.
